“An Instagram Gallery Takeover”

Join us as we celebrate our first ever “Best of Instagram” exhibition this upcoming January in our gallery located in the SOMA arts district in San Francisco. The competition is open to all photographers who use Instagram as a platform to share and display their work. Image(s) can also be processed using Instagram filters, as well as other similar editing applications.

As image sharing applications become a common part of our lives, the ability to share ideas and artwork across the world has expanded exponentially. Aesthetic trends emerge daily on these platforms; often defying cultural, linguistic and physical borders to create a globalized dialogue united by our visual culture existing more and more online. In celebration of this, we seek to add a twist to the conversation by turning the digital into the physical; allowing one to explore the notions of physicality and permeance in an increasingly digital world.

One person will be selected as our Top Post  which includes: A Cash Prize including a feature on the All About Photo website in a special article and in a merit gallery, four months to display your work in our artist’s marketplace, free printing services from our digital lab for your artist’s marketplace pieces, 1 year representation on our online gallery, your selected show image(s) printed and shipped after the shows completion, and other possible promotional opportunities

Two people will be selected as our Suggested Posts which includes: two months to display your work in our artist’s marketplace, free printing services from our digital lab for your artist’s marketplace pieces, 1 year representation on our online gallery, your selected image(s) printed and shipped after the shows completion

All accepted entries will be exhibited in our San Francisco gallery space.
