INTRODUCTION TO STUDIO FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY AND PORTRAIT LIGHTING
In this 1-day workshop students will get an introduction to RayKo’s studio lighting equipment. As a group, students will work with the instructor to put together 3 basic lighting setups commonly used in fashion and portrait photography. We will then work with a model as a group and learn how to direct the model through different poses and reconfigure these lighting set ups to gain different effects. All images will be immediately reviewed while shooting to see how to make changes. We will also discuss model releases, working with modeling agencies, and understanding a basic studio workflow for fashion and portrait photography. This class is also to prepare students for the Studio Lighting for Fashion Photography and Digital Processing workshop.
PRE-REQ: Experience working with camera in manual mode.
DATES: Sun, 11a-5p, Mar 5
INSTRUCTOR: Arturo Oliva Pedroza
