INTRODUCTION TO Night Photography
This comprehensive workshop will be held for 3 nights photographing in the South of Market area and at RayKo. The emphasis of the class will be evaluating existing lighting situations and exposing accordingly. Supplemental lighting possibilities will also be demonstrated. Digital, B&W, color negative and slide film will be discussed and compared. Basic proficiency with your camera is required. The course is suited for intermediate through professional photographers. After 2 classes of night shooting, students will return the following week to discuss and critique their work.
PRE-REQ: Knowledge of photographing in the Manual mode
BRING: 35mm, medium format film cameras, or digital SLRs with full manual controls and a bulb or time setting, sturdy tripod, digital watch or other timer. Instructor will email a suggested equipment list with more detail.
