Photographing your Family as Fine Art
Take your family photos to the next level in this workshop where students will explore various approaches of artistically portraying your family, including documentary, staged/narrative, portraiture, and landscape photography. In addition, we will look at some of the ways other artists have presented families, including artist books, commercial and documentary work. Students will have weekly assignments with the goal of expanding the ways they portray family. A broad definition of “family” is welcome and encouraged.
