Stephanie Williamson is a Bay Area photographer, artist and writer. She received a BA in Literature from Tufts University and an MA in Photography/Interdisciplinary Arts from San Francisco State University.
Stephanie has expertise in both traditional analog and digital photography. Her specialties are film photography, alternative processes, combining images with text, and handmade books. She appreciates any opportunity to share her knowledge and derives much inspiration and energy from her diverse population of students. Her work has been shown in many exhibitions around the Bay Area and nationally.
Stephanie has taught classes and workshops at the ASUC Art Studio at UC Berkeley, College of Marin, the Randall Museum, Walnut Creek Civic Arts, and the Harvey Milk Photography Center. She is a member of the Photography Department faculty at City College of San Francisco where she as been teaching since 1996, and is also an adjunct at Solano College.
